What are Candle Freak candles made from
Our candles are hand made with All Seasons Deluxe natural soy wax and are white in colour (no artificial dyes or additives)
They are mixed with high quality fragrance oils (all Phthalate free) to give a lovely clean, long burning candle. We use natural cotton wicks with a paper core.
Where are Candle Freak candles made
All of our candles, melts and diffusers are made by us here in Christchurch, NZ.
How can I try your fragrances
We do attend the odd markets around the Canterbury region, so please feel free to stop by and say hello and try out ALL the fragrances!
I warn you, it can be quite overwhelming (but I like to think there is something for everyone)
Or please get in touch to make an appointment to visit our base in Parklands, Christchurch where you can also try out the full range. There is absolutely no pressure for a purchase. I totally understand how hard it is to choose a fragrance based on an online description.
How much is Shipping
Our courier fees are set at fixed rates depending on the size of your order;
$7.50 for orders up to $50.00
$12.00 for orders between $51.00 - $120.00
Free Shipping on orders over $120.00
Do you offer Collection
We offer free collection from our base in Parklands, Christchurch.
In the past we have offered CBD collection, but unfortunately that is no longer available as I am not in the CBD for work any longer.
You will receive an email to let you know that your products are ready to collect. Please get back in touch with us to arrange a suitable time.
Can I refill my jars
Absolutely! We do all of our refills at 35% discount of our retail pricing.
We can refill our Glass Medium Jars & any of the luxury collection, unfortunately we do not refill the Glass Mini Jars.
I just ask that all jars that are brought back for refilling have all the wax and wicks removed and have been washed clean - hot water and dishwashing liquid does the trick. Unfortunately just wiping out the wax is not enough to remove residue & cause issues with the wicks sticking and wax adhesion to the glass.

We are only able to refills jars that are our own and purchased from us or our stockists. We have tested each and every one of our jars and therefore can guarantee its performance and it's safety.
Which payment methods do you accept
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our website, as well as Paypal transactions.
What happens once I've placed my order
You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your order. Please double check this confirmation email, including your delivery address. If anything needs changing please get in touch asap.
Once payment has been received, your order will be processed. Generally we need around 5-7 business days to make your candles, especially if there are any luxury candles (all custom made) in your order.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is shipped and receive your tracking information. Or receive an email to arrange a time for free collection.
Please allow for a lead time of roughly 7-10 business days during the busy Christmas season.
How do I receive my order
Once your order is complete you will receive a shipping confirmation email and receive your tracking information. Or of course our free collection option from our base in Parklands, Christchurch.
Delivery is by tracked courier (generally requiring signature) and can take 1- 3 working days to arrive at your door. Please allow slightly longer for rural delivery.
If your order doesn't arrive or is lost, please contact the courier company in the first instance. Please also let us know as soon as possible, including a query reference number from the courier company so that we can lodge a query from our end as well.
Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this stage.
What is your return policy
Rest assured! We want you to be happy with your purchase!
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we can happily exchange it, if the candle is in saleable condition.
Please get in touch with us within 30 days of purchase to let us know that you intend to return, and simply pop it back on the courier back to us. It will be your responsibility to cover the postage fees for returns.
